Frequently asked questions
Does Kassa DZ POS work without Internet?
Yes. The software is designed to work offline: checkout, stock and printing all work without a connection. The Internet is only needed for cloud backups and WhatsApp messages.
What hardware does it run on?
A Windows PC or a Mac, with a touch screen or a keyboard and mouse. It supports barcode readers, 58/80 mm thermal printers, cash drawers and a customer display.
Can receipts be printed in Arabic?
Yes. Receipts and invoices can be printed in French, in Arabic or in both (FR | AR).
Does it comply with Algerian regulations?
Invoices include NIF, RC, NIS, AI, stamp duty and VAT. The tamper-proof fiscal journal meets the requirements of article 51 bis of the CTCA, mandatory from 1 January 2027.
Can I use several registers?
Yes. Several workstations can work together over the store’s local network.
What if my PC breaks down?
Your data is backed up and encrypted (AES-256) automatically, to a USB drive and/or a free cloud account that we set up with you. You can restore everything on a new PC.
